Eat bad food once, shame on the chefs that need more hours of culinary school, eat bad food… twice, shame on ME!!

Yes, my name is C. Sturdi and I am ashamed… ‘fore I have allowed myself to be succumbed to the beautiful allusion that is Creme Cafe… twice.

This U St. dine is cute and classy, plus has free wifi.. BUT do not be misled. Unless you’re coming in for wifi and cocktails, its best you just stay away.

I’ve tasted the shrimp and grits twice, which was more like saltless gumbo each time. Once, my friend got the shrimp risotto, which was over-salted… go figure. Oh, and the burgers… Eh.

I wanted to like this place, I really did, but….

The Dish about Creme:Nice ambiance, good customer service, pretty presentation… Bad Food.
