I had the great pleasure of attending the launch party for Chic Society, an online vintage accessory store. Alixaundria Powell, 27, is the owner of this fresh and fun, classic, and unique store. I also had the wonderful opportunity to ask Alixaundria a few questions while I was there. Check out what she had to say about what she does!

So what do we have here? I see some jewelry set up in the background everything looks awesome! Thank you! I’m just starting out with my website, so I wanted to invite some close friends and family of mine to look at my jewelry for Chic Society. As you can see, it’s a little bit of everything back there. We have earrings, bracelets, necklaces, a couple of bags…I just wanted to let everyone know what I’m doing and hopefully gain some exposure!

Great! So how long have you been searching for items that you fell in love with and wanted to share with the world? I have been searching for items for the past 6 or 7 months. I’ve been keeping it, I started with one pair of earrings and I just was like OK, somebody will buy them. Before I knew it, I had a collection of jewelry.
